Oak Grand Piano By blasius (philadephia)
A very small percentage of grand pianos were produced in oak. It is equally uncommon to find Philadelphia grand pianos as the vast majority were made in New York during the later 19th Century. Blasius & Sons was established in 1855 and built pianos through the 1920s.
This well constructed piano has very nice ivory keytops and will be carefully restored to ensure that it can be enjoyed as a work of art and an outstanding musical instrument for many years to come.
