1898 VICTORIAN UPRIGHT BY ERNEST GABLER
|
|
This piano has a rebuilt action, new
hammers, refinished mahogany. Ernest Gabler came to America in about 1850 to work for
Chickering. After gaining experience there, he opened his own company in
New York and produced good quality uprights, grands and player
pianos. This 1898 victorian upright has a nice tone, and a restored
action. It is refinished in red mahogany and has the
original ivories in very good condition. Beautiful scroll-work and
carvings.
